I am 56 and I’ve been drawing since I can remember but I only started painting in September 2017. I was just going to do it for a hobby, until people wanted to buy my work. So I started my business Cobbler’s Goose (named after our home - people remember it!).
I am on a steep learning curve, with many of my commissions being the first time I’ve ever attempted the subject. But it is bringing the best out in me. My clients are very happy and I am very happy. I have worked in pastels, watercolour and acrylics, and I’ll soon be using oils. I will paint any subject that interests me and I love different styles. I also am not intimidated by size of surface. I really would love to paint murals!
