I paint mostly in oils in thin layers. I have developed this technique for painting landscapes to allow the light to shine through . I love the coast and countryside of the UK and spend time walking and sketching locally and around the country. I use watercolour and gouache for sketching I have always painted but now my work is becoming quite well known as my style is unique.

I have been an exhibiting member of the Reading Guild of Artists for some years and am involved in setting up exhibitions and running workshops with them I like to experiment so am always on the look out for interesting and new art ideas .I do get through a lot of arty stuff so Art discount are a good source of materials.
