And suitable for all ages!
Here at ARTdiscount we offer a variety of affordable System 3 paints from individual 59ml tubes, to giant 2.25ltr tubs. We also sell many box sets offering different palettes, from ‘Starter’ sets to ‘Jumbo’ sets!
System 3 water-soluble Acrylic Paints are made from high quality pigments, their superior pigment loading allows for them to be thinned with water to pale washes or used directly from the pot. Either way they dry quickly and form an insoluble film. Reliable coverage, intermixable, great colour finish, with little colour shift. Can be used with many different mediums to change viscosity, handling and finish. Fresh out of the tube it has a soft body handling and for those who require a thicker viscosity we also sell the System 3 Heavy Body Acrylic paint.
System 3 can be used for Painting, Textile Printing, Screen printing on paper and now System 3 paints can also be used for Lino and Block relief printing! Mixed with the right medium, System 3 paints have become even more versatile!

1) Adigraf Acrylic Block Printing Medium - 250ml
Mix with system 3 acrylic colour to turn into inks for block and lino printing. Blend 1.5 parts medium with 1 part acrylic colour, rolling into your tray or sheet to blend. If necessary, leave for a minute or 2 to become suitably tacky. Then print as with traditional printing inks.
Water based and easy to clean. Safe and solvent free. Suitable for printing on canvas, paper and other primed surfaces.
2) System 3 Textile Screen Printing Medium 250ml
Textile Printing Medium has been developed for screen printing on fabrics.
Mixed 1:1 with System 3 acrylic colour the medium remains open on the screen, gives strong colour, fine definition and excellent colour fastness (over 20+ washes). The medium works well on cotton, cotton mixes, synthetics, silk and natural fibres.
This product features in our Blog “Screen Printing, Serigraphy or Silk Screen Printing”
3) System 3 Screen Printing Medium - 1 Litre Pot
Daler Rowney System 3 Screen Printing Medium - 5 Ltr
Daler Rowney System 3 Screen Printing Medium retards the drying of acrylic colour on the screen and reduces the risk of screen blocking, making it easier to wash out. Screens, kept moist, will wash out easily with soap and water.
The medium can be thinned with water. System 3 Acrylic Colours retain great density of colours even after mixing with medium and very substantial covering power can be achieved on paper, card and board without undue cockling.
Daler-Rowney System 3 Acrylics are versatile water-based colours made from high quality pigments. System 3 Acrylic colours are lightfast, permanent (ranking from 3 to 4 stars for most of the colours), opaque (10 opaque and 20 semi-opaque colours), flexible and quick drying, making them suitable for applications on multiple surfaces both indoor and outdoor.

Thanks for interesting and helpful article. Is there any difference between a general textile medium to mix with acrylic paints for using on fabrics (for instance with gelli plate printing or wood blocks, or Lino)) and the screen printing medium mentioned here?
