Apply pure vibrant dry colour with the pencil and then water with a brush to activate the pigment into bright translucent, ink. Once dry, the colour is permanent and can be worked over with other media. The possibilities are endless, the results stunning.

Use Inktense pencils on paper, canvas, ceramic, wood and or even fabric, as well as many other porous surfaces. Experiment with different watercolour techniques to add some fun vibrancy to your fine art piece or use in unconventional ways to add some magic to your crafting projects.

We suggest using a watercolour sketchbook alongside refillable waterbrushes for instant and convenient access to powerful ink washes when inspiration strikes or you're out and about.
