They have a diameter of 8.65mm. They're suitable for techniques such as watercolour, coating, glazing, scraping, soaking, ink-wash, monotype, and more. They are suitable for numerous artistic techniques on a wide range of materials.

Caran d'Ache Neocolour is best suited for use on pastel paper or cold pressed watercolour paper where the paper's soft texture can be best used. However, they can also be used on cardboard, wood, leather, or even stone, alongside many other materials.
