About Steve

I studied sculpture at Wimbledon School of Art and then went on to be an art teacher. After a number of years I 'retired' and became a full time artist.

Over the years I have explored many material and subject matters. I now paint mainly in acrylics but also use materials like string and paper to create pictures of pure, vibrant colour, strong line and shape and dynamic composition.

My favourite subject is pure geometric abstracts but I also produce nudes, landscapes and still life paintings, normally using a geometric style. Examples of these works can be seen in the images displayed.
