Gary Nightingale

I am originally from Devon and now I live in Gloucestershire with my partner Melanie and our dog Beau, a four-year-old white staffy.

After a few major life changes, I decided to do something I had always wanted to do – make a living as an artist. It took me a little time to find my style, which has evolved into the kind of cartoon characters I used to draw when I was a kid. This has become my business – Gary Nightingale Business Illustration.

Now I create cartoon illustrations for businesses, mostly for coaches, trainers and consultants, to help them get more engagement with their online content marketing. I have also worked with a design agency and a rum distillery in Scotland!

I work in Faber Castell Pitt artist pens and then either colour with Faber Castell Polychromos colour pencils, or I scan the line drawing into my laptop and work in illustration software.

My art tells stories, in cartoon form. I love finding the humour in the quirks and nuances of relationships. This is what I'm told makes what I do unique and interesting.
