Below is a list of suggested Maths tools which are used in geometry for the construction of different shapes necessary for most high school learning.

Technical drawing equipment

Technical drawing or drafting is the discipline of composing drawings that visually communicate the functionality of an object or product.

Often used to portray or visualise a project at design stage and in advance of actual manufacture or build. The draughtsman needs access to a wide range of tools and materials including drawing boards, technical instruments, compasses, dividers, set squares and technical pens.

Our new range offers the very best value to commercial draughtsmen, draughtswoman, education and professionals at all levels.

The numbers indicate the hardness or softness of the pencil within their particular range.

The H pencil range: The 9H pencil is the hardest and H pencil is the softest.

The B pencil range: The 9B pencil is the softest, and the B pencil is the hardest.

This means that pencil hardness travels from the softest on the left (9B) through to the hardest on the right (9H and F). The harder a pencil is, the lighter a mark it makes. The softer a pencil is, the darker a mark it makes.

Erasers and sharpeners

Erasers, sharpeners, where would we be without our erasers and sharpeners! We have some great products to keep the creative juices flowing when that pencil nib has worn down! Great for coloured pencils and graphite.

Glues and scotch tape, sellotape, and double sided tape

Where would we be without glue and tape! We have a great selection of glues for all projects! From glue dots, glue pens, glue brushes, glue roll-ons to glue guns! Safe and non toxic these glues can be used without worrying about odours and toxic fumes.

While most schools will supply masking tapes and Sellotape, Colleges and Universities may expect you to buy your own. Masking tape and  parcel tape  is essential for printmaking, sticking down your paper to your drawing boards, for life and still life drawing. Gumstrip is essential for stretching wet paper ready for painting onto. Double sided tape is a must for creating those collages, design boards and mounting your work and photographs professionally.
