Zieler : Watercolour & Sketching Pencil : Starter Set : Set of 38

The Zieler Watercolour & Sketching Pencil Starter Set Set of 38 brings colour and control together for beginners and improvers alike. It includes 24 highly pigmented watercolour pencils supplied in a portable gift tin, plus 10 sketching pencils in grades from 6H to 8B. You also get an A4 heavyweight cartridge pad (225gsm, 25 acid-free sheets), an artist eraser, a durable metal sharpener and a brush for activating watercolour effects.

The soft, break-resistant leads lay down smoothly and can be used dry for detailed colouring or blended with water for luminous washes. Comfortable hexagonal barrels prevent rolling and give precise control, while the smooth yet firm paper surface withstands multiple erasures, light scraping and mixed-media use. Each sheet is gum-bound at the top for secure holding and clean tear-out when your artwork is ready to share.

The watercolour pencils in this set come in the following colours: Black, Deep Purple, Mauve, Royal Blue, Navy Blue, Light Blue, White, Lemon Yellow, Deep Yellow, Orange, Red, Pink, Flesh, Lime Green, Turquoise, Sea Blue, Grass Green, Light Brown, Deep Red, Brown, Dark Brown, and Grey.

Zieler are a family-run company who have been selling art supplies for 30 years, before deciding to make their own art materials in 2017. They work with talented artists who thoroughly test their products to ensure they are of the right quality. The artists rule out any product which is not up to their high standards. Ideal for beginner artists.
