Sable hair retains a really nice point and also returns to its original shape well, it is durable and has a lovely spring. Not as absorbent as goat hair, this brush is great for practicing small characters in calligraphy.

The handle of this brush is lightweight and has a useful loop on the end to help facilitate drying.
