Gamblin : Solvent Free Gel : Oil / Alkyd Painting Medium

Gamblin Solvent-Free Gel is a non-toxic oil painting medium that increases flow, transparency, and gloss while preserving brushmarks and texture. Made from safflower oil and alkyd resin, it contains no solvents, Gamsol, or petroleum distillates.

With a moderately fast drying rate, it supports a wide range of painting techniques with minimal impact on colour, texture, or handling. For best results, use up to 25% by volume with oil colours and apply thinly to promote proper drying and prevent wrinkling.

It can also be used to clean brushes during painting sessions, with Gamsol or soap and water recommended for final clean-up.
