Description
Description
Gamblin 3-in-1 is a versatile, lean oil painting medium designed for fluid washes, underpainting, and tonal layering. It improves flow, increases transparency, and dries to a subtle satin finish without adding excess gloss. Ideal for the early stages of painting, it can be mixed with oil colours in any proportion to achieve the desired effect.
Beyond painting, 3-in-1 is excellent for preparing wood panels and other surfaces before applying an oil ground, helping to seal the substrate and reduce the risk of warping. It is also perfect for oiling out, restoring colour saturation to dull areas and creating an even surface before varnishing.
