Sennelier Oil Sticks are fully compatible with conventional oil colours. They offer artists an exciting and direct drawing & painting medium, with the finish and appearance of traditional oil paint. The Sennelier Oil Stick is suited for use on all usual supports for oil colour such as primed canvas and wood but are also suited for use on artboards and pastel paper.

Like oil paints, a Sennelier Oil Stick can be diluted or blended with turpentine or mineral spirits and cut into and scraped into layers of oil colour with palette knives.
