Goat hair is flexible, absorbent and really soft, the structure of the tip of the brush allows a larger absorption of ink and enables you to create continuous, flowing brush strokes. Great also for blending washes seamlessly together. The handle of this brush is lightweight and perfect for the fluid brush strokes required for sumi painting and calligraphy. The ferrule is plastic. This brush has a useful loop on the end to help facilitate drying.
