Lynn Painters Stainers Prize 2019 Call for Entries

Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize welcomes paintings from both amateur and professional artists in the UK. The open competition searches for talents in areas of draughtsmanship and figurative painting. The exhibition aims to reflect an array of approaches and materials from across the artistic spectrum.

Deadline for entry: 5pm, Monday 3 December 2018

Artists may submit up to 4 works through an online entry here. There is a small entry fee, however there are some generous prizes to be won; including the Brian Botting Prize for an outstanding representation of the human figure aimed at encouraging young artists 18 to 30 to enter.

The Lynn Foundation is a charity devoted to children, the disabled, music and the arts. Its contribution is the prize money totalling £25,000 and an engraved gold medal for the winner of the First Prize.

Once the works have been whittled down by the expert judges, approximately 100 will be selected for exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London in March 2019.
