The ARTdiscount team were lucky enough to meet with the Director of FAM Festival recently, allowing us to learn about what to expect from the Festival which is being held next month in our hometown.
FAM stands for food, arts and music! The weekend will be packed full of talks, famous and inspiration to take home with you. Plus we are supplying art supplies which will be used during the canvas competitions! There will be art competitions held for both adults and children. Meaning this is certainly a family event.
Tickets are now available for the event and can be found on all respected ticket sites such as Ticketmaster.

"For the first time ever, we are bringing three festivals together to create a mouth-watering, arts inspiring, rock and roll weekend in the heart of Blackpool!"
- FAM Festival
Throughout the day visitors will be able to sample delicious food from partners, Twelve Event Management. Enjoy burgers, street food, and artisan cooking at its finest. Plus, witness live cooking demonstrations from two world renowned chefs.
Visitors will also be able to try their hand at creating fine art with resident artists, get involved in everything from graffiti style art, craft making, and even digital displays.
There is something for everyone at the FAM Festival weekend with workshops from partners at B&FC Creative Arts. Younger guests will have the opportunity to play live rock guitar, designing pop badges and so much more.
Not forgetting the rock show that everyone's talking about "One Night of Queen" will headline the Empress Ballroom on Saturday, whilst a cast of over 500 local choir performers will combine with a live band and West End star Ben Forster on the Sunday to bring the festival to a spectacular climax. Finally, we've heard rumours of Blackpool rock gin being on the cards! If that's not a reason to attend, we don't know what is...
