Copic Ciao Markers - Product of the Month

Copic Ciao Markers - Product of the Month

With over 20 Copic Ciao products available on our online store, we thought they’d be the perfect product to talk about this month. We believe we’re the cheapest in the U.K to currently stock these fantastic markers, which certainly warrants them being our May Product of the Month.

“The Ciao marker is the most economical Copic, providing the same great quality and experience as Sketch, but at a more attractive price.” - COPIC

Not only do they have a vast array of colour options, each marker comes with a twin tip. Now, this isn’t to everyone’s preference, however once you try these you will be surprised at how often you feel the need to use the two nibs to make the perfect stroke or add some detail to a particular area. The chisel tip is great for blocky, bold typography, or filling in large areas. Copic named the chiselled tip the “medium broad” end, which is a good way to describe it. The brush nib is very durable, you can use the very tip of it to create small details or press down with the whole tip to create larger strokes, living up to it’s name “super brush.

COLOUR CHART

These graphic markers are available in 180 colours, meaning there aren’t many projects you will come across where you can’t find a Copic Ciao Marker to help you along the way. Copic Ciao’s are alcohol based and non-toxic and will dry quickly enough for you to move across your paper without the worry of smearing your work.

Copic Ciao Markers can be bought as individuals, in packs of 5 + 1 multiliner or in larger sets varying from 24 pen sets, to 72. The great thing about the Copic Ciao Marker sets is there aren’t just one set of colours, within the “COPIC Ciao Marker Set of 36” you have a choice of set A, B, C, D and E. Its compact body shape means you can carry them on the go; you never know when they may come in handy.

How do these compare to the more expensive Copic Markers?

Well, Copic says they have the exact same level of quality as Sketch Markers; they just have a more attractive price.

With that being the case, you can’t go wrong with this potential purchase! Prices start at £3.29 per individual marker. A fun fact is that you can use the empty cartridges to create your own colour, by buying multiple fresh inks and pouring them in, then shaking to mix. Add some fun to refilling your marker.
